Sessions

How the work begins

In person, in French or in English, in South Kensington, London. Each path is singular; what follows describes only the frame.

Our first meeting

The first meetings are a time to speak about what brings you, without any obligation to continue. They allow us to hear what is at stake and to decide whether to begin, and in which language, or languages.

Our first meeting can be arranged by email: contact@frederiquestref.com. A few lines are enough. I reply within a few days to suggest a time.

Where I practise

The practice is in South Kensington (SW7), at the heart of London’s French community, a short walk from the Lycée Charles de Gaulle and the Institut français. It is easily reached from Chelsea, Fulham, Earl’s Court, Hammersmith, Putney, Battersea, Wandsworth, Clapham, Richmond and Kew. Sessions are held in French or in English.

Confidentiality

What is said in the consulting room stays there. I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and work within its Ethical Framework, which includes clinical supervision and the strict protection of confidentiality, within the limits set by law.
